The Answer for World Peace

I’ve done it!

Through years of intense research in a dark underground lab, as well as a library filled with ancient texts, I have studied and found the answer to achieving world peace. The love life I gave up. the meals not eaten. The blood, sweat, and tears. Talking to people who weren’t there for advice. Going insane. It was a hard journey but I made it. World peace.

I’m kidding. It only took me…uuuhhh…15 minutes to find out.

Isaiah 9:6-7 says “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.”

It was that easy. There are two points in there that I hope you noticed. The person talked about in that passage is Jesus, in case you didn’t know. He will be known as the Prince of Peace.

It also says that, there will be no end to His government or peace.

Those two points right there tell me how we could possibly achieve world peace. Through Jesus, and Jesus alone.

The problem with the world is that we are trying to achieve peace without involving the Prince of Peace. He is and has ultimate peace.

All of the various charities and causes are setup to fail for one reason: They don’t involve Jesus. Their mission is ultimately a waste of time. I’m gonna be the bad guy and say it loud. Without Jesus, I don’t care how positive your case it, it will fail.

Just like life. There is only one way to life: Jesus. He is the truth and life. Anything else selling you “life”, is lying. It’s a scam. It is a scam. It might be a nice feeling. A feeling of comfort. That’s the idea.

If something is not of the Lord…it must be of something else. The enemy. This is where things get tricky.

The enemy isn’t necessarily trying to cause destruction. His primary goal is to lead you away from God. Anything not of God…anything not in God’s will, is not good. We look at bad things to be stealing, killing, and lying, among other things.

But, the Devil is tricky. a clever one. He knows that we’re likely to fall for things that seem right, but are not quite right. Half truths.

For example of a half truth, consider an organization. This organization spends its time trying to help the hungry. That’s great. What’s not great is that it makes no mention of God as a primary source of inspiration. That’s not so good because you have to wonder what the source is.

It may seem harsh, but that’s the reality. Your mission may not be evil, but without God, success isn’t going to come. It just won’t. Understanding how the kingdom of God works is key. As I said, you can be presented with a half truth. A noble cause but no mention of God. This allows you to feel great, and the Devil is able to keep your focus off of God.

Always remember that’s his goal. Keep your mind off of the true God. The real God. the only God.

You want world peace? You need to talk to the Prince of Peace.

It’s like when you have a question about your cable. Let’s pretend your cable/satellite provider’s costumer service is excellent. You call them up because you need help with your cable. The picture’s out or something.

You wouldn’t call up the plumbing company. They are not the experts of cable. They won’t be that much help. They might tell you something that isn’t right and you’re screwed.

It’s the same with Jesus. When we have disarray going on, and we need peace, we need to turn to the expert. The know it all. The specialist. Jesus is the guy for peace. And His peace has no end.
